Money may be deposited into an Inmate’s Trust Account, commonly referred to as their “Commissary Account.” Funds are accepted in the form of cash, credit cards, money orders or cashier’s checks. Money orders/Cashier’s Checks must be mailed in to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. The kiosk in the front lobby accepts Cash and Credit Cards 24/7. See below for instructions on filling out and mailing Money Orders. Torn, ripped, or improperly completed money orders will not be accepted.
