  • The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications

    The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is now hiring! We are looking for full-time Correction Officers and a part-time Janitor. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office. Please return completed applications by August 25 at 4pm.


    The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Merit Deputy. Applicants must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment, a High School or GED graduate, possess a valid driver’s license, be able to pass all required testing, and a background investigation. Applicants who have not been selected for a Merit Deputy position in the past 12 months will not be eligible to resubmit their application for a period of one year from the date of their original application. Application packets can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office and must be returned by September 1, 2017 at 4pm.


    Women’s Handgun Familiarization Course

    The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a FREE Women’s Handgun Familiarization Course.
