Deputy Ryan Ashlock & Dyzio
Rizzo and Dyzio are the K-9s for the Sheriff’s Office. They joined the agency in 2010, thanks to funding from the Clinton County Drug and Alcohol Coalition.
Rizzo and Dyzio are law enforcement officers under Indiana law. If an individual hurts or kills a K-9, he or she is subject to arrest for assault or homicide of a police officer.
Deputy Joey Mitchell & Rizzo and Deputy Ryan Ashlock and Dyzio are on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (on a rotating basis).
They sometimes assist other agencies such as the Frankfort Police Department and local town marshals.
Rizzo and Dyzio can track, sniff for drugs and paraphernalia and assist in a “take-down” of a subject that is resisting arrest.
