Clinton County Cadet Program

The Clinton County Cadet Program is a joint endeavor between city and county law enforcement agencies which began in 2011.

The Clinton County Cadet Program is designed to provide persons aged 18 to 21 a chance to experience the challenges and rewards of a career in law enforcement. The Cadet Program gives young men and women insight into law enforcement careers through hands-on activities and training opportunities.

Please read the following minumium requirements required for Clinton County Cadet Program consideration:


  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 21.
  • Must have completed the Criminal Justice Program offered at the Frankfort Senior High School OR have completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours in a law enforcement related field of study.
  • Must complete and submit a Cadet Application and Criminal History Authorization form.
  • Completed applications should be submitted to Colleen Moore at the Frankfort Police Department by 3pm on October 15th, 2012.
